Every few months the beauty products start to stack up and there are more great products than we can tell you about! That’s why we invented our Clean Edit column, to share the quick clean beauty hits that we can’t put down. In this edition, find a natural deodorant that actually WORKS (and smells like a forrest), a silky serum infused with adaptogenic mushrooms and the best smell on the planet, and the prettiest pressed eyeshadow set to start spring off on the right foot.
Moon Juice Plumpling Jelly Serum
How cool is it that Moon Juice came out with a beauty serum?! And it captures and delivers all of the amazing adaptogenic properties of their gorgeous healing mushrooms. Our skin never looked so bouncy, and it uses honey suckle too which is arguably the best smell on the planet (but not found in many products because it’s pricey). With this, your skin is ready for anything. $58.
Ursa Major Forest Fix Deodorant
Ursa Major’s new deodorant makes you smell like a fir tree and it’s kind of incredible. We find the smell to be so soothing and relaxing. Ursa Major Deodorant is already a top deo contender for us, so this is the perfect addition to our morning routine. Whether you’re a ‘nature-person’, or just looking for a more natural deodorant, you’ll love this too. $18.
LASHFOOD Phyto-Medic Serum
We were SO excited to get LASHFOOD in the mail. It’s gotten a lot of buzz for using safe and natural ingredients to grow and strengthen the lashes. After scrolling through tons of before and after clinical trials (they’re kind of insane), we knew the hype must be real. Everyone wants pretty, long lashes, so we started testing immediately. Full results come after 16 weeks, but we can already notice less lash fallout which is very promising. $80.
W3ll People Nudist Eyeshadow Palette
We’ve been dreaming of the day W3ll People would come out with a pressed eyeshadow palette, and now they’ve come out with two! One equipped with nude, bronze, and brown shades to warm things up, and one packed with grays and pinks to cool things down. It’s made us fall in love with wearing eyeshadow all over again. It doesn’t officially drop until later next month, but we couldn’t wait to share the news. Now we just need to brush up on our eyeshadow blending techniques before the big launch! $25.
Eluo Beauty Forma Rosea
There’s nothing as fun as getting a little dirty while you get clean. Eluo Beauty gets it, which is why they made super chic, high quality clay masks to soothe and hydrate the skin. Our favorite has been Forma Rosea, the pink clay because it’s brightening and works for just about everyone. Apply before hopping in the shower to keep the mask wet to double down on the hydration boost. $35.
Ursa Major Go Easy Shampoo and Conditioner
Ursa Major deserves a second mention because of their Go Easy Shampoo and Conditioner set. It came out a few months ago and it’s honestly incredible. Perhaps the best clean shampoo and conditioner set we’ve tried yet. Your hair gets really and truly clean from the shampoo (not stripping but no greasy feeling left behind), and the conditioner makes your locks feel like silk again, but without the silicone. $12 – $28.
Act + Acre Scalp Detox
Act + Acre is all over the showers and baths of our favorite beauty influencers (props to their PR team!). The packaging is so chic (and recyclable) and we just had to try it out. This is the ultimate scalp detox for those who get build up from excessive hair product use or dry shampoo. Don’t worry, you’re not alone- we’ve been there too. Do this once a week and your build-up problems are G.O.N.E. $42.
Cleban Electra Set
See you later coffee. We started using Cleban’s Electra set to wake up in the morning. It uses natural botanics to energize you first thing in the morning, or during that 4 PM weekday slump. Spray the mist around yourself and the area you’re working in and breathe deep to clear away sleepiness, then add a few drops of the tincture to a full water bottle and drink to bring out your vitality. It’s herbal alchemy, AKA magic! $68.
Biossance Squalene + Tea Tree Detox Mask
We’re not kidding when we say, every time we hear someone speak about Biossance, we fall in love all over again. They started as a tech-startup, and a bomb skincare brand just happened to follow. They just released a line of tea tree products geared at clearing and de-congesting your complexion. Who knew tea tree wasn’t just for stubborn zits? Biossnace did apparently, and now they’re sharing the gift of tea tree with us. The whole line is great but the Detox Mask is our personal favorite, because everyone loves a good mask at the end of a long week. $39.
